Lizbeth Robles, 31, of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico; assigned to the 360th Transportation Company, 68th Corps Support Battalion, 43rd Area Support Group, Fort Carson, Colo.; died March 1 at the 228th Command Support Hospital in Tikirt, Iraq, from injuries sustained Feb. 28 in a military vehicle accident in Bayji, Iraq. Also killed was Army Sgt. Julio E. Negron.

  • Army Spc. Wai P. Lwin, 27, of Queens, N.Y.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, New York Army National Guard, Manhattan, New York; killed March 2 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle in Baghdad. Also killed was Army Spc. Azhar Ali.

  • Army Spc. Azhar Ali, 27 of Flushing, N.Y.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, New York Army National Guard, Manhattan, New York; killed March 2 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle in Baghdad. Also killed was Army Spc. Wai P. Lwin.

  • Army Spc. Robert S. Pugh, 25, of Meridian, Miss.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 155th Infantry, Mississippi Army National Guard, McComb, Miss.; killed March 2 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle in Iskandariyah, Iraq.

  • Army Sgt. 1st Class Michael D. Jones, 43, of Unity, Maine; assigned to the 133rd Engineer Battalion, Maine Army National Guard, Belfast, Maine; died March 3 in Syracuse, N.Y., of a non-combat-related illness after returning from duty in Iraq.

  • Army Staff Sgt. Juan M. Solorio, 32, of Dallas; assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Wash.; killed March 4 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle as his unit was being attacked by enemy forces using small-arms fire in Mosul, Iraq.

  • Army Spc. Adriana N. Salem, 21, of Elk Grove Village, Ill.; assigned to the 3rd Forward Support Battalion, Division Support Command, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.; killed March 4 when her military vehicle rolled over at Forward Operating Base Remagen in Tikrit, Iraq.

Wade Michael Twyman, 27, of Vista, Calif.; assigned to the 1st Infantry Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, Camp Hovey, Korea; killed March 4 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol in Ramadi, Iraq. Also killed were Capt. Sean Grimes, Sgt. 1st Class Donald W. Eacho and Cpl. Stephen M. McGowan.

McGowan, 26, of Newark, Del.; assigned to the 1st Infantry Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, Camp Hovey, Korea; killed March 4 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol in Ramadi, Iraq. Also killed were Capt. Sean Grimes, Sgt. 1st Class Donald W. Eacho and Spc. Wade Michael Twyman.

Franklin, 22, of Coudersport, Pa.; assigned to the 44th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Howze, Korea; killed March 7 when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near his screening area in Ramadi, Iraq. Also killed was Sgt. Andrew L. Bossert.

  • Army Sgt. Andrew L. Bossert, 24, of Fountain City, Wis.; assigned to the 44th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Howze, Korea; killed March 7 when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near his screening area in Ramadi, Iraq. Also killed was Pfc. Michael W. Franklin.

  • Navy Builder 1st Class Alec Mazur, 35, of Vernon, N.Y.; assigned to Underwater Construction Team One, under operational control of Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command; killed March 9 in a non-combat-related automobile accident in Mombassa, Kenya.

  • Army Staff Sgt. Donald D. Griffith Jr., 29, of Mechanicsville, Iowa; assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment, Fort Lewis, Wash.; killed March 11 by enemy action in Tal Afar, Iraq.

  • Army Spc. Nicholas E. Wilson, 21, of Glendale, Ariz.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Casey, Korea; killed while conducting a roving patrol March 11 when the shoulder of the road he was on collapsed and his military vehicle rolled into a water-filled ditch in Ramadi, Iraq.

  • Army Sgt. Paul M. Heltzel, 39, of Baton Rouge, La.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 156th Infantry Regiment, 256th Brigade Combat Team, Louisiana Army National Guard, Eunice, La.; killed March 15 when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated while he was conducting a mounted patrol in Baghdad.

  • Army Spc. Rocky D. Payne, 26, of Howell, Utah; assigned to the 497th Transportation Company, 44th Corps Support Battalion, 1st Corps Support Command, Fort Lewis, Wash.; killed March 16 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee in Iraq.

  • Army Staff Sgt. Shane M. Koele, 25, of Wayne, Neb.; assigned to the 212th Military Police Company, Kitzingen, Germany; died March 16 at Shindand Airfield, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained March 15 when a land mine exploded near his Humvee in Shindand.
