  • Marine Lance Cpl. Stephen F. Dearmon, 21, of Crossville, Tenn.; assigned to 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; died April 3 in Taqaddum, Iraq, as a result of a non-hostile incident.

Loza, 24, of Abilene, Texas; assigned to the 1st Squadron, 124th Cavalry Regiment, 56th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 36th Infantry Division, Waco, Texas; died April 10 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C., of a noncombat related illness after becoming ill March 17 in Radwaniyah, Iraq.

  • Army Staff Sgt. Gary L. Woods Jr. , 24, of Lebanon Junction, Ky.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.; died April 10 in Mosul, Iraq, when his vehicle was struck by a suicide bomber. Also killed were Sgt. 1st Class Bryan E. Hall, Sgt. Edward W. Forrest Jr., Cpl. Jason G. Pautsch and Pfc. Bryce E. Gautier.

McIlvaine, 26, of Olney, Md.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, Calif.; died April 30 in Camp Baharia, Iraq, while supporting combat operations. Also killed was Staff Sgt. Mark A. Wojciechowski.

  • Marine Staff Sgt. Mark A. Wojciechowski, 25, of Cincinnati; assigned to the 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.; died April 30 in Camp Baharia, Iraq, while supporting combat operations. Also killed was Sgt. James R. McIlvaine.

  • Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 2nd Class Tyler J. Trahan, 22, of East Freetown, Mass.; assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit 12 in Norfolk, Va., and was deployed with an East Coast based SEAL team; died April 30 while conducting combat operations in Taqaddum, Iraq.
