Marine Lance Cpl. Jon E. Bowman
21, of Dubach, La.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; killed Oct. 9 while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Anbar province, Iraq. Also killed were: Sgt. Julian M. Arechaga, Pfc. Shelby J. Feniello, Lance Cpl. John E. Hale, Lance Cpl. Stephen F. Johnson and Cpl. Bradford H. Payne.
